Well the big moving day happened on November 1st and we have been getting settled & adjusting ever since! Our things arrived out of storage and delivered from Kentucky almost without a hitch. Just a few minor hang-ups so we are most definately thankful for nothing major happening. The house is starting to feel like home now and we are beginning to settle into a nice routine with the girls and being a family again.
Michael is doing very well at work. Enjoys what he does and of course is still doing the Army Reserves on the weekend once a month. I am getting used to living in a new town although I can say it is hard not knowing anyone. I have joined the YMCA and enrolled Elyse in swim lessons in addition to taking some exercise classes myself...this is going to be my porthole to the world outside the house. Elyse has adjusted too. Took a few rough nights after the move to get her used to sleeping in her room but now she is a pro. Ashley is oblivious. As for the pets, Buster was terrified to go to the main side of the house because he was going to have to walk across vinyl floor to get there! He is so funny with his paranoias. But he finally conquered the fear and has found that our house is much bigger than the family room alone. Busby & Marshall are finally getting some exercise because they have to go down the stairs to get to the potty & food and then, they have to come back up! HAHA.
Let's see...other news. Ashley is rolling over now. Very exciting and of course fun to watch. And it is getting cold here. Welcome to Michigan. Oh! I almost forgot. We have the house in Kentucky ALMOST SOLD! The people have decided to rent for a bit while they work on lending but they do want to buy it and we have a contingency contract. Just in the nick of time before the holidays. We couldn't be happier with that news.
Here are some new pics of the house & girls. Hope everyone is well...enjoy!
